By using PixKB you agree to these terms. They are short because the service is simple: free tools that run in your browser.
The service
PixKB provides free, browser-based tools to compress, resize, convert and edit images and PDFs. No account is needed. Files are processed on your device and never uploaded to us (see How your files stay private).
Acceptable use
Use PixKB for legitimate purposes: preparing your own photos and documents for forms and applications, signing and annotating documents you are entitled to sign, redacting information, and fixing file size and format problems.
You must not use PixKB to create or alter documents in order to deceive, including forged or altered identity documents, certificates, degrees, bank statements, payslips, receipts, invoices, medical or academic records, or official stamps and signatures that are not yours. You must not use it to remove protection from files you have no right to open, or to infringe anyone's copyright. Misusing a document can be a crime, and responsibility for that rests with the person who does it.
Specs and accuracy
Portal presets and guides are checked against official sources where we mark them "Verified", with the source and date. Portals change their rules without notice, so always check the current official instructions before submitting. PixKB is not affiliated with any government, exam board, embassy or portal, and we do not use their logos.
No warranty
The tools are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Keep your original files: tools create new copies and never change the originals, but you are responsible for checking every output before you submit it. To the extent permitted by law, PixKB is not liable for rejected applications, missed deadlines, data loss or other damages arising from use of the site.
Advertising and analytics
The site uses Google Analytics and may show Google ads, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Open-source software
PixKB uses open-source libraries and fonts under their own licenses, listed on the licenses page.
