FPSC Application Photo — Under 30KB in One Tap

FPSC's online application system (General Recruitment) asks for exactly one thing at the photo step: a recent passport-style picture in JPG/JPEG format, less than 30KB. That's the whole rule — the official guidelines specify no pixel dimensions, no centimetre size, and despite what some sites claim, no separate signature upload exists in the FPSC online form.

The one-tap preset below applies the verified spec: it compresses your photo to just under 30KB at the best possible quality and hands back a file the portal accepts. Everything happens in your browser; your photo is never uploaded to us.

What FPSC actually checks (verified)

From FPSC's official Guidelines for Online Application Submission: the upload happens in Step-2 of the two-step process, after fee payment. The system enforces JPG/JPEG format and the 30KB ceiling, and the guidelines add one soft rule — "avoid uploading informal pictures", so use a plain-background, front-facing photo as you would for any official document. If your upload fails despite being under 30KB, re-check the format: PNG files renamed to .jpg are a common silent failure.

Frequently asked questions

What is the FPSC photo size limit?

Under 30KB, in JPG or JPEG format. FPSC's official guidelines specify no pixel or centimetre dimensions — any standard passport-style framing works.

Does FPSC require a signature upload?

No. The online form requires only a photo. The 'two photographs' mentioned in FPSC instructions are physical copies for the document-verification stage before interview, not uploads.

Which FPSC document is this based on?

FPSC's Guidelines for Online Application Submission (fpsc.gov.pk), read directly — see the verified badge on the preset. Re-checked 2026-07-06.
